Below are some different forms of bread :

Chapati – flat bread made with salt and oil mixed to gather to make a flat bread.

Seasame – made with sesame toppings and oil and salt to taste.

Prathas – heavier form of chapati . It is made with lots of Butter and ghee and is made by stuffing different vegetables like Potato, spinach, Methi, onion, paneer, mix vegetables.

Naan – is a bigger bread made out of flour and sesame seeds by cooking in fire over the wood (Bhatti).

Batura – is also another form of bread which is made by maida flour and frying in oil.

Dosa – It is south Indian form of bread made from fermented grated rice kept over night. The next day it is fried on a hot plate and had with chutney (coconut)and sambar, sounth Indian gravy made all vegetables boiled to gather with spices.

Appam – bowl shaped thin pan cakes, made of fermented rice flour, shaped via round vessel served with spicy chutney of mint or coconut. It is fermented in coconut milk or yeast.

Bhakri – Jwar bajra or maize are made in flat shapebread called bhakri.

Biscuits – baked form of flour dough with different nuts can be considered as bread.

Khakhra – flat bread crispy, common gujrati food and dried for longer shelf life with different spices.

Kulcha – made of flour dough mashed potatoes onion lots of spices rolled into flat round baked until golden brown, usually rubbed with butter and eaten with spicy chick pea curry.

Papadum or papad – Thin crisp crackle like served with meal as appetizer or a snack eaten with various toppings like chopped onions and tomatoes, dipped in chutney and other dips.

Puran Poli – Sweet dessert made of stuffing of boiled chickpea lentils, turmeric, sugar, jaggery, spices cooked on hot griddle, served with milk or ghee.

Roti, Rumali Roti – these are also different forms of bread which are prepared from flour.

Different types of flat Bread can be made from grains like corn, millet, ragi, Bajra and rice by cooking in a pan without oil and can be taken with different curries according to the need.
